"This book is zany, tender, and hysterically funny." -- Jonathan Ames

My first book, printed by Free Spirit Publishing from 2000 to 2007.

This edition is now out of print. Other editions remain in print.

The stories in Teen Angst? Naaah... span 1990-1999. I wrote them between 1996 and 1999.

A majority of the book originally appeared in New York Press, an alternative weekly newspaper printed in Manhattan. Some of the stories appeared in a different form when they were first published in the paper.

This edition has illustrations and footnotes in the margins of the text.

"A breakneck, jam-packed, roller coaster of an adventure about the secret power of books, House of Secrets comes complete with three resourceful sibling heroes, a seriously creepy villainess, and barrel loads of fantasy and fear." -- J. K. ROWLING

HOUSE OF SECRETS follows three siblings and their family as they are forced to move to a mysterious new house in San Francisco and end up embarking on a journey to retrieve a dark book of untold power.

The UK version of Be More Chill was published by HarperCollins UK. Check out the racy tagline under the title!

This edition of the book came with its own Flash movie. Unfortunately all that remains is this screenshot:

I did a promotional interview for this edition:

From June 28 to July 3, 2004, I traveled throughout England to promote the book:
